The Blacksmith at Burton.
About 2 miles West from Stogursey is the small hamlet of Burton and the place where the Blacksmiths shop is situated. At one time it was always busy with a procession of horses to be reshod or farm implements to be repaired at the furnace. With the advent of portable equipment blowtorches etc, most work is now done on farmers premises.
